Project stages

After hiring me to design your project, the design process will have the following stages:

Architectural

1. Preliminary Project

The first step to get started on your project after signing our contract is having our briefing meeting. This meeting allows me to fully understand your needs for your home. I will also collect all the information I need regarding the lot and the space I'm working with. After a few weeks, I will present to you the Preliminary Project, showing the floor plan of the house, materials and colors chosen for the design, along with realistic images of your project.

2. Definitive Project

After your approval of the Preliminary Project, we will move on to the second stage. At this stage, the initial architectural drawings of the project will be developed. These drawings will be used to get the city permit, which will allow your constructor to build your home. Some of these drawings are site plans,
roof plan, floor plan, sections, elevations, and others.

3. Executive Project

The last stage of our process is the Executive Project. At this stage, additional architectural drawings and project details will be developed. These drawings contain all the necessary information for constructors to build your home. With these extras and specific details, we aim to get the best result possible and make sure everything is built according to how it was designed.

2. Executive Project

Just like in the architectural project process, after signing the contract, we will have our briefing

meeting, take measurements of the space, and get started with the project design. Our Preliminary Project presentation will showcase a mood board with the chosen colors, finishes, and decoration, along with the layout plan and realistic images

of your space.

After your approval of the Preliminary Project, I will develop a comprehensive "Detail Notebook" for your project, organized into two categories: Architectural and Interior Design and Custom-Made Furniture. The first set of documents will contain all the details to get your design built. From demolition plan, layout, electrical and hydraulic plan, ceiling and lighting plan, and sections, to schedule and quantities specifying all the finishes, fixtures, lighting, construction elements, and others chosen for your design. The second set will contain assembly details of your custom-made furniture, showing all the measurements, MDF or stone types, brands and finishes, furniture handles and other relevant information. All these documents will be in a PDF format so you can easily forward them to all the professionals involved in making your project come to life.

My projects are all developed in a Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. This is a software with innovative technology developed specifically for the architecture field. It brings more efficiency to the design process, in addition to enabling me to create more detailed projects. This combination makes for an easier construction process.
