Project stages

After hiring me to design your project, our design process will have the following stages:

Architectural

1. Preliminary Project

The first step to get started on your project after signing our contract is having our briefing meeting. This meeting allows me to fully understand your needs for your home. I will also collect all the information I need regarding the lot and the space I'm working with. After a few weeks I will present to you the Preliminary Project, showing the floor plan of the house, materials and colors chosen for the design, along with realistic images of your project.

2. Definitive Project

After your approval of the Preliminary Project, we will move on to the second stage. At this stage, the initial architectural drawings of the project will be developed. These drawings will be used to get the city permit, which will allow your constructor to
build your home. Some of these drawings are site plans, roof layout, floor plan, sections, elevations and others.

3. Executive Project

The last stage of our process is the Executive Project. At this stage, extra architectural drawings and project details will be developed. These drawings contain all the necessary information for constructors to build your home. With these extras and specific details, we aim to get the best result possible and make sure everything is built according to how it was designed.

2. Executive Project

Just like in the architectural project process, after signing the contract we will have our briefing meeting, collect site data and get started with the project design. Our Preliminary Project presentation will showcase a moodboard with the chosen colors, materials, and decoration, along with the layout of the space and realistic images.

After your approval of the Preliminary Project, I will develop a complete "Detail Notebook" of your project, separated into 4 categories: Architecture, Furniture, Stones and Images. The notebooks will contain all the details to get your design built. From layout plan, electrical and hydraulic plan, ceiling plan and elevations, to complete carpentry details with MDF types, brands and finishes, furniture handles and whatever else needed. The third notebook has separate details for all the stones used in the design. It contains all the measurements and information of countertops, sills and socles. The fourth and last one is a notebook with realistic images of the design for better understanding and visualization. All these will be in a PDF format so you can easily forward them to all the professionals involved in getting your space built.

My projects are all developed in a Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. This is a software with innovative technology developed specifically for the architecture field. It brings more quality and efficiency to the design process, in addition to allowing more detailed projects. This combination makes for an easier construction process.
